***** Not many hip hop albums rival this for me. The sinister tone set throughout the tracks is facilitated by the production, which I just cannot fault at all. His rap flow helps create some really catchy tunes in some instances, whilst in others helps link in with the otherwise independent hook. Each song seems to offer something unique, and while many people turn to the impressive 'F**kin' Problems', it's the forgotten collaboration with Santigold titled 'Hell' that is the real peak of this record. But that's what separates this from most hip hop albums - there's just so much quality that the word filler never comes into it. 5.5 |
